Hi,

Here is a link to the page in question

ponyack.com/newsite/index.php/component/k2/item/350-kz750-update-detours

I checked the Main Menu module and specified all page but this article will not show a menu - any ideas how to add a menu or navigation to the page?

Thanks

John

This page has no menu link and doesn't belong to a category that has a menu link either.
Try to create a link to a hidden menu for this page and see if the menu appears then without editing the menu module.
If it does then your problem is solved if not let me know to check it further.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The reason it does not have a category is because its a link from the home page using the Module K2 content.

I am not sure how to create this "hidden menu" What I really would like to do is add the Category List from this page :

www.ponyack.com/project-blogs

to the latest blog post page

www.ponyack.com/component/k2/item/360-the-shed

Thanks,

John

You can put each category as a sublevel of one of the top links, for example

-Project Blogs
-- Motorcycles (K2 Category type)
--- Kawasaki KZ 750 (K2 Category type)

OR if you do not want them to show on your main menu, create a new menu and begin with

- Motorcycles (K2 Category type)
-- Kawasaki KZ 750 (K2 Category type)

Then go to the module and select these new menu items also.

PS. If you go with the second option, you will lose the menu active when browsing these pages because these links won't be children of Project Blogs menu item.

Hi,

I still am not sure how to get a menu to show up on the latest blog post page.

I really just need the main menu at the top of the page

Here is the link www.ponyack.com/component/k2/item/360-the-shed

As you can see its just a page with no menus - I do not have the option to assign a menu to this page, am i missing something?

Hello John,

You need to assign your menu module to ALL menu items in order to view it correctly.

If you don't want it in all your all your pages simply select the all except... option in your module setting.
