I am using new K2 User module. I have setup a user group with publisher permissions, and a user in that group in K2. I have set the "global comments setting" paramater to disabled.

When user is logged in the menu in the K2 module is:

You have 0 published comments

My page
My account
Moderate comments to my published items

Why is info about comments showing up here, and link to moderate comments?

SOLUTIONS:
Finally found the right search terms to see how others are handling this... with an overide.

These three links are located in the userblock.php file of the mod_k2_user module.
You could make an override for the mod_k2_user module in your template and comment out the comments link.
