I was wondering is it possible to make FrontEnd Editor autoselect categories?

I am talking about like user press "Add a new item in this category " button in category A subcategory A1, how to make that he do not need to choose that subcategory from a list but it would be selected automaticaly?

This cannot be done, but you can however give access to specific categories to your usergroups, so a user cannot add an item in every category.

It is not solve my problem because I have 1000 categories :(

But I think it would be close. Assign your user to a specific K2 User group and give them access to only one category. They won't be able to post elsewhere then.

But still they can see all categories, maybe at least I can hide other categories somehow?
