HTTP 500 error was created by Vasilis
Hi,

I running a news site in greece. I recently learned about k2 and i am trying to customize it according to my needs.

I installed the k2_v2.6.6.zip file. Then i imported all joomla content into it (about 5500 articles). Everything fine. Now, when i'm trying to see the item's page on backend (components->k2->item) i get http 500 error. I cant set debug mode on because my website has visitors all the time.

Any help?
Thanks in advance

Hello Vasilli,

I would really advise you against moving 5500 on a live site without having a backup or a dev server/site.

You have to make sure you have your permissions and log/tmp folders set up correctly.
Also I am assuming you are using J! 2.5, 3.0 or 1.5.

Finally checking your error_log might provide you with some insight of what went wrong.

PS. always backup first.
