[SOLVED] Global Article Import to Joomla 3 was created by Tim Collins
Hi,
Using Joomla 3.1.1 and latest rev of K2.

In older versions of Joomla, there is an icon to import all existing Articles and Categories.
This doesn't appear on my Joomla 3 K2 dashboard.

Can anyone explain how i import existing Articles and Categories to Joomla 3?

Have you enabled the import button from K2's params?

Hi Krikor,

Thanks, OK I am in K2 Parameters, and have searched through every Radio button/selection in the Tabs, but cant seem to find anywhere to set the Import function. sorry to be a pest, but can you let me know where to find and set it?

Hi Tim,

It is in the Advanced tab, the label is: Hide Import buttons
Multiple Extra Fields Groups for K2
AutoMeta for K2
Chained Fields for K2
More K2 Extensions In My Extensions Store

Hi,
OK found that thanks it was already set to No, so I set/reset it to be sure and hit Save and Close
but i still don't get an icon on the K2 Control Panel for a Global Import of all existing articles - has it been removed in the Joomla 3.n version of K2?

Its the last button in the Toolbar of the Items list view.

Go to K2 > Items and you will see it.
Multiple Extra Fields Groups for K2
AutoMeta for K2
Chained Fields for K2
More K2 Extensions In My Extensions Store
