Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to show unpublished items in a module on the frontend. This way it's possible to make upcomming items (setting the Creation date in the future) and past items (setting Finish publishing date also in the future). I want to use this as a simple way to show events on a website.

I'm using Joomla 1.5.26 with K2 2.6.2

You can have unpublished items in a K2 content module. For the best result you should use an extrafield as your date and manually order them in your module.

Thanks for your response. How is it possible to show only unpublished items in a module? It is important that the process is automatic, so that you can set a date when making a new item and that after that date the items is automaticly displayed only in the module and not anymore in the item overview. Hope that makes sense...

I am afraid without making a new module based on the K2 Content module you cannot achieve this.
You will have to edit the core files of the mod_k2_content so copying it and turning it into an enitrely new module is the only way to go.
