I am new to K2. I am having trouble with the URL addresses for items that I post as stories on my newspaper website, www.saladovillagevoice.com.
I imported my categories, articles and users from Joomla 2.5.
I haved noticed that K2 is putting articles in the following URL address, which is not good for me when I post the link to Facebook.
Particularly bad is the /index.php/K2-users/obituaries/item/item-name.html
How can I change that to eliminate the K2-users/obituaries/items part of the URL addressing?
I would be happy to get rid of the K2-users/obituaries part of the addressing, or at the very least the /obituaries part of the addressing.

Here is an example of an item URL address below.


www.saladovillagevoice.com/index.php/k2-users/obituaries/item/899-eagles-get-past-elkhart.html

you have 2 choice... you can get a SEF component... like AceSef or others... you can modify and change the Url that you want....

or ... maybe ... into the K2 parameter component.. you have an Advanced SEF settings..
