404 error reported by Google was created by William Gurumayum
Hello,
I am using the latest K2 version i.e 2.6 . The thing is when i use text such as session.rewrite or php.ini or anything that has a dot between two words in item contents, is read as a URL and Google reported 404 error for it..
Is there any way to fix this? Please help me..
Thanks a lot

Hello William,
Do you mean in your items? If that is the case that is probably a setting in your editor.

Hello,
Thanks for the fast reply..
Yes, it is in the items. This doesn't happen for Joomla articles. So i think it is with K2?
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot

This is a setting from your editor or a K2 plugin. Try enabling the default editor and have a look at your plugins through Joomla!'s plugin manager.

Hello,
That was weird.. It is gone now when i switch my editor.. But another problem has crop up. when people entered php,ini or php5.ini on their comments, it is displayed as a link(which in turn returns a 404 error). every text that has a dot in between is now displayed as link. I tried changing my template, but the same thing happen.
Is this problem from Joomla or K2? Please suggest.
Thanks once again!!
