Hi,

I'm brand new to K2 and inherited a website using it. The blog (hadn't been started yet) had 4,000 spam messages and I tried to remove them. I deleted comments from the database and now I'm getting these error messages:

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/53/10343753/html/administrator/components/com_k2/views/comments/view.html.php on line 52

and

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/53/10343753/html/administrator/components/com_k2/views/comments/tmpl/default.php on line 142

Please help.

Hello Lisa,

First of all I hope you have a backup. Manually deleting rows from the DB can seriously damage your site and should be your last option. You have to look at the database schema to delete any other field that is affected by your changes, but this is not the optimal way.

Since your DB and site is not functioning properly you should restore a backup and then delete the comments through the backend.
