Hi Guys, I upgraded an old site thinking the latest K2 and joomla will solve the problem of 1000+ comments from botnets even with re-captcha on.

I see its a common topic when i google it but there is no concrete solution other than making the commeting only available to registered users.

recaptcha is broken and useless (opinion, though first hand experience) what i use is phpbb's q&a, i've yet to have a single bot spam make it through

it's a good bit of work to pair the two together and make it work, but the end result is well worth it
