Module K2 content and menu item linkage was created by George
Hi,
I'm trying to assign a menu item to a K2 content module, but it doesn't work.
As you can see in the screenshot, I haven't selected any article items, but at the bottom I select a menu item.
This results in the module to be removed from it's position. It doesn't show anything.
Can you please help me?
thanks in advance

Hello George,
By default the K2 content module does not render if there is no content so you only have two options.
a) Create a new module template and remove the items loop so the items will never render.
b) Which is more optimal create a new module based on K2 content and alter the core files.
You just have to remove or move an if statement. There are several posts in this forum about customising this module.

Hi and thanks for the answer.
I don't quite understand how to do the first option.
I mean how to remove the items loop.
Can you please tell me which options to enable/disable?
Thank you
George

Hello George,
By loop I mean the items loop, the foreach loop inside default.php this is where the items are constructed and rendered.
