I've taken over a site that uses K2 v2.5.4 on Joomla! 2.5.8 with PHP 5.3.15

The user registration area doesn't work at the moment and while I sort it out I want to disable the option for my user to register and login. I just want customers to be able to put things in their baskets and then purchase without having any option to register or login.

Is that possible? I've read through documentation and forums looking for this but with no joy and scoured the admin pages looking for options.

Can anyone point me to the relevant area in the admin or some instructions I can follow?

Hi Paul,

I think if you are using a payment gateway that manage and process orders, then you don't have to ask users to register and login.

This can be configured by the shopping cart component you are using, which one?

Thanks for this. You quite rightly point out that what I'm looking for is part of the payment system (rather than K2) which is VirtueMart on this website. I've looked in there and found what I needed.
