Go to K2 and click Parameters from the top menu. Then navigate through the Advanced tab and enable it through there. The option is "Use one editor window for introtext & fulltext".

So when I set "Use one editor window for introtext & fulltext" to no I will get two separate editors - one for introtext and one for full text?

If that is the case then how will I edit intro text separately?

Yes. When you set this option to No, when you edit the K2 item you will have 2 different content boxes. The first one will be for the intro text and the second one for the full text.
