Hi, I am trying to enable by users to download / save page as a pdf file instead of print, after searching the forums, I see that this is a old question, but I can't seem to find a solution, I am hoping someone here may have a solution please.

I think you should look for an external app or serivce that does this sort of thing.
Printfriendly - www.printfriendly.com/button does exactly this thing for you.
