Is there a way to deactivate author pages (the page that lists all of an author's items) so that these pages are not indexed while still keeping the author profiles at the bottom of each item? I saw this K2 forum post about removing the author link, but we would also like to deactivate the pages completely so that they are not accessible through their URLs and not indexed by search engines.

Hello Kevin,

This cannot be done. But what can be done is blocking all the URLs containing /author/ from your robots.txt.

That way none of your K2 author pages will be indexed.
