hi when i try to create a new menu item with menu item type k2 categories, then i see that no k2 category selection dropdown box appears to select a k2 category after menu item type selection!! it was appearing before.i have many k2 categories.i never touched k2 source code or modified tables.

i don't know of a dropdown box, but after choosing k2 category, if you click "basic options" to the right (joomla 2.5.11) an area should appear where you can choose your category

if that's not it, can you post a screen cap of what you see?

i am using joomla 3. don't know why when i enabled a template plugin, "advanced options" tab was not appearing in new menu item creation page. Disabling the plugin, everything works fine.so is there any known trick so that even if any plugin i install and enable that don't affect what the problem i said.

oh ok, i've only tried joomla 3 a bit, and don't remember how it's set up

what's the plugin for? i'd check the code, cause it might be trying to override some backend admin files, and is the plugin made for joomla 3? using a 2.5 on 3 might cause unknown side effects
