Hello.

Good morning everyone.

I make a change in my database Site Testing:

dominioempresa.es/estruagua

And there's something I can not understand.

If I upload an image either on a story, K2, make 6 copies of different sizes with the same name:

91650abe72b74891ce17dffa3726f716_Generic.jpg
91650abe72b74891ce17dffa3726f716_L.jpg
91650abe72b74891ce17dffa3726f716_M.jpg
91650abe72b74891ce17dffa3726f716_S.jpg
91650abe72b74891ce17dffa3726f716_XL.jpg
91650abe72b74891ce17dffa3726f716_XS.jpg

In this case the calling: "91650abe72b74891ce17dffa3726f716"

But nowhere in the database are located these images:

Not even on the table jos_K2_items.
That is where all the data in the news ...

Can you tell me, please, which state that the image:

dominioempresa.es/estruagua/media/k2/items/cache/91650abe72b74891ce17dffa3726f716_M.jpg

Belong to the news:

dominioempresa.es/estruagua/es/component/k2/item/596-pruebami%C3%A9rcoles01.html

?

Thank you very much.

Angel

I think this size is the Medium size, inspected from the file name.

item images are saved in media/k2/item folder, and the name is calculated using this formula: md5("Image".Item Id), i.e the word Image is concatenated with the item id and the md5 of this string is the image file name.

hope this answers your question

Multiple Extra Fields Groups for K2
AutoMeta for K2
Chained Fields for K2
More K2 Extensions In My Extensions Store

Thanks a lot Mohamed.

Then:
91650abe72b74891ce17dffa3726f716 in MD5 is 596 (this is de Id of register where is the image)

And

7d2898c3630feea92ec1553d16389ff6 is 593

And how i can know what is 597?

Or 598?

SOLVED - I hadn't copied the images into the cache -
Due to me not checking with my ISP first, I built a new website offline using Joomla 3.1 and uploaded it to find that the server only has PHP5.2.17 and although they are upgrading it will take a while, so I'm having to convert to Joomla 2.5. :( I've managed to upload the K2 database files as is, so that the product catalogue and items are intact, however the images are no longer being shown even though I have copied them into the media/k2/items/src folder with exactly the same names as before. Is there anyway that I can get the items to recognise the images without uploading them all over again?
Thanks in advance.
