[SOLVED] No extra fields on Add Item was created by Richard Irwin

Have created Categories and associated extra fields with Categories, but Extra Fields do not appear on the Extra Fields Tab

Help please!!

Hi,

You should choose the category at first to show the extra fields.

Multiple Extra Fields Groups for K2
AutoMeta for K2
Chained Fields for K2
More K2 Extensions In My Extensions Store

Which version of K2 and Joomla! are you using?

Also which editor are you using? Have you tried with tinyMCE or codemirror?

I think this editor has an issue with extra FIelds (I am not 100% sure though).

Can you try with JCE or tinyMCE?

Thanks - Changing Editor worked - I will have to ask JCK why their Editor does not.

how did you make JCE work?
i've been trying for the last couple of days and i just can't get it to work...
all i get is the NicEditor...

Richard,

JCE works (just installed it in a J! 3.1.1/K2 2.6.7 site) and I have tested it in numerous 2.5.11 sites.
Check your editor's configuration and for any possible JS conflicts.

If you open your browser's developer tools you will find if there are any JS errors under the console tab.
