When trying to use the k2 user registration on the frontend, it gives a 404 error. I have looked at other solutions from previous versions and threads but none seem to work. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

It is very possible that your template overrides are out of date.
You can try to see if it works with the default or the system template.

If that is the case you need to update com_k2's register.php and profile.php and the two views of mod_k2_user.

Do you have a link for it?

You can always download the latest version and get these files from the /modules and /components/com_k2/ folders.

If you are running the latest version on your site the files can be also found in your server.
