I am looking to add a linkable image at the end of every article but I cant find a Joomla 3 exstension.

Does anyone know when an exstension will be made for this?

Hello Sarah,

You can also use the loadposition shortcode and use the regular banner module, or you can hardcode a module position in your item.php.

A simple snippet for a custom module position in your item.php is
