Hi, Thanks for the help in advance.

I am running a Joomla 2.5 site with K2. Recently I started getting resource limit reached (508 error codes). I contacted the host and they claim it is a script that is causing the site overload. This is the line :

PHP Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$author in /httpdocs/templates/bt_travel/html/com_k2/default/item.php on line 461

Does anyone know how to fix this or if it is an error at all and i need to go jump on the host about their hardware.

Hello Sylvian,

This is a notice and not an actuall error, I won't affect your site's functionality.
It is related to your template overrides however so the template developer will know exacty how to correct this issue.

As for the host, it is hard to know if it is their fault without any hardware and hosting specs. Keep in mind that apart of K2 you might have other extensions installed that might cause that issue.
