However, there was not a very clear answer on that guy..

We have a very large project that has around 25 extra fields groups.. However, only 20 are showing up in the categories page under the "Associated Extra Fields Groups" and the items that use groups 21 - 25 are no longer having their extra fields displayed at all.

Any ideas on how to NOT have the Associated Field Groups dropdown in the Edit Category/Create New Category page be limited to 20?

Which version of Joomla! and K2 are you using?

I am currently on Joomla 3.1.1 with K2 2.6.6 -- this just started happening as far as I know, we have had the same amount of extra fields groups for a couple of weeks now, I do believe.

I was just able to replicate the steps to reproduce the bug..

I corrected the relationships in the database (the associated extra fields group gets reset to 0, which kicks out all of the values) and then went in and changed -- in the K2 Edit Category page -- the Leading Count (Or Primary Count or Secondary Count) value.

For example, the primary count was set at 4, I changed it to 99 and then the associated extra fields group got kicked out.

Is this a known bug? Or something within my install? Any ideas?

To follow up.. Anytime I make ANY change in the Edit Category page (I just changed the ordering), it causes the same error of kicking out the extra fields.
