I tested it with several Joomla! 3.1.1 sites and it worked fine.

You need to clear both your browser's cache and your Joomla! cache.
Also make sure your DB structure is up to date (Extensions =>
Extension Manager => Check Database).
If the problem persists then there is a conflict with an extension.

I have used JCE editor ,RS Form pro (not 100% sure if it was that extension), Xmap without any hassle so my guess is some of the other extensions is causing that conflict.

no solution yet...

i will wait until the site will be installed on root and try again
or i will wait to k2 next upgrade...

Ben you can always backup and try reinstalling K2 on top.

You can also upgrade Joomla! the same way.

I was having the same problem one one site and not the other and the only difference was Little Helper. I disabled it and the problem went away.
