Hello thodoris,
Out of the box no, if you do not want to use a custom script you can look for a Easyblog to com_content migrator and then migrate com_content to K2.

Hello Thodoris,
I have never used easyblog to be honest. Since they are offering migration from K2 you should look at their forums if they anything posted that will help you through.
No reason to apologise you are not coming off a smartass :)

Sorry Thodori,
But I haven't faced a similar request in these months nor have I used Easyblog.
If your site has 3k articles I would suggest hiring a proffesional (DB expert) to handle the migration.

Salut Krikor
I have googled about my scenario and i also found some people hiring DB experts to do this. it's really sad feeling stuck in a component.
As i have mentioned in older post, Easyblog itself has a k2 migration built-in mechanism so why shouldn' t k2 develop something similar so people can move from one component to another? I agree with you that since there are not many same requests there is no reason for you to work on it but i believe that since easyblog become very popular there are or there will be more people asking a way to migrate.
Regards

Have you browsed the JED or getk2.org/extend for an extension?
There are some services like CMS2CMS as well. They offer K2 migration as well.
Are you sure they aren't offering Easyblog migration as well?

I have checked it and found nothing. Even CMS2CMS offers migration from a CMS to K2 and not of a Joomla component to k2
