New items and images (front end) was created by Jesús González
Hi!

I have a problem when uploading images with K2. When I'm adding a new item from the front end, and I choose to upload some images by using the Joomla standard image link at the bottom of the editor, I get that "image explorer":

Is it normal to get this window so... empty and ugly?

Thanks!

Hello Jesús,

It is normal to see the modal like this. This is a system modal that inherits its values through your template's stylesheet and another system stylesheet.

Make sure all stylesheets are loading properly and your template.css is not overring any default styles. (You can use your browser's developer tools to check this)

This is the code line for the New Item form:

Sorry about that... Happens sometimes.

NOT normal. :)

Another quick and dirty solution is to open the form using the default template, see which stylesheets and/or classes are used and then copy these to your template.

Uhm, I think I don't understand... I have disabled default CSS in K2 parameters, so doing this should load the CSS styles from my template, isn't it?

Of course, nothing happens, I don't know if I have to do something else. Sorry, I'm pretty new in Joomla...

Thanks for your answer!

Finally I found an alternative solution: I've installed JCE Editor, that comes with a good explorer for images.

Thanks for your answers! ;)
