which is the criteria used to order items in Category view when I select "featured first"? I wish to alphabetically order all the items, featured ones first, than all the others alphabetically too. Is it possible?

If you use the featured first criteria the featured items will be rendered with the default ordering. Newest item (largest ID) first.

@theant, I suggest you use a K2 content module for your featured items and the regular K2 category (with the featured items excluded) for the rest of the items.

Sure you can pretty much put a module where you want to.

You have to use a snippet though instead of the regular method.

Read this post for this info and replace the module chrome (style) with your own.
