K2 Configuration was created by EBC Computers
On my server I run two versions of my site. The live version is www.domain.com, and there is a version where I do the development work called dev.domain.com

When I do content updates I just mirror the relevant MySQL tables from database to database which works fine.

Sometimes I have to copy the files and I keep the old configuration.php file thus keeping all the relevant settings in that correct.

Each time though, somehow I mess up all the K2 recaptcha settings by overwriting those for the live site with those from the development site.

Where are these settings such as the recaptcha keys etc kept please? I need to avoid over writing them.

Thanks in advance,

Chris.

Hello Chris,

For recaptcha my suggestion is to generate and use a global key so you don't need to rewrite the key each time you make a change to K2's params.

Most of the settings are stored in the xxx _extensions table (search for captcha in phpMyAdmin) but in your position for something like recaptcha I would avoid editing the DB.
