is there a way to create links to attached files easily? I want to place some links within the text (in addition to the attachment list at the end of the article)

Hello,

You can use K2's attachments (which by default are listed at the end of the article).

If you want to link your text to files located to your media folder easily I suggest you use a WYSIWYG editor that supports this functionality. JCE supports this, but I am not aware if any other editors do.

Thanks for your reply! I am using the "TinyMCE" editor. So I have to get an editor which supports linking to files directly? But then downloads will not be counted, I guess?

Is there no (intuitive, user-friendly) alternative to use the "k2-specific links" which are shown in the list at the end of the article?
