Hello Rodrigo,
I suggest creating a dev site and using an extension like AdminTools to upgrade to Joomla! 3.1.x
If all your components are Joomla! 3 compatible you won't have any issues.

Thanks Krigor, but that isnt the question.
I have a website with joomla 2.5 and k2. Then i migrate my website to joomla 3.x.
First I install joomla 3.x and the I install only a component, k2. Then i migrate all the content by joomla 2.5 to joomla 3.x.
I think, when i migrate the core of joomla, i also have to migrate the content (articles, categories ...) of k2. Is this migration automatic? Do i need any software to migrate the content of k2?
Thanks,
Rodrigo

You have to migrate K2 seperately. The content is strored in different tables.
You can use a service called CMS 2 CMS or try the upgrade method.

You have to install this extension www.akeebabackup.com/products/admin-tools.html to your DEV site (not your production site) and read the extension's documentation.
The first two buttons are upgrade buttons one for your Joomla! installation and the other for the extension itself.
