Display Modules on Specific Article Pages was created by Michael Yaeger
Is there a way to attach modules to articles so that they always display in a module position when that particular article is displayed?

We have a link in the menu to a specific category of posts. Each article in that category all have the same modules in the sidebar position. We would like to specify specific modules to each article without having to create menu item for every article (obviously that is unfeasible with 2000+ posts).

The idea solution would be to "attach" a module in the k2 item (article) creator. But, that goes against the Joomla! method of attaching modules to menus. However, with K2, pages are generated dynamically. Any solutions?

Those looking for the answer should turn here:
www.nonumber.nl/extensions/advancedmodulemanager

The Advanced Module Manager (PRO version) will let you add modules to any position based on K2 article name/category/tag/etc. It has worked great for our needs.
