I am working on creating a new site at sellingprof.com. I am using a template from gavick.com and the K2 component. For some reason none of my links (menu, buttons etc...) are not working properly. For instance if I click on the top menu and select "Connecting" and the sub menu "Networking", I will be taken to a "networking" article. But then when I click on "Home" or even use my browser's back button I am unable to leave the page.

If I try a few minutes later (2 to 3) the home button works correctly. If I click again on "Networking" the issue appears again.

I have searched through user forums at Gavick.com and her at K2 solutions but have found nothing.

Any help you might offer would be appreciated.

I am wondering if this is a real newbie issue!

Just to be clear I am a newbie to K2 but a 6 year Joomla veteran. ;)

I also asked my webhost to look into the issue and they said that it was because I had "SEF URLs" activated in my Joomla Global settings. Sure enough once I set it to "no" the problem vanished.

Is there an incompatibility issue with K2 and core Joomla SEF URLs?

K2 version - 2.6.7

Joomla version - 3.1.5

K2 supports native SEF urls. Were you using an additional SEO component or a custom .htaccess file?
