reformatting K2 elements was created by David
I'm new to K2 and have come across a few items which all fall under the category of look and feel. I'll list them all but hopefully there's overlap on the answer.

- background color of a K2 Module doesn't match the template, how do I change background?
- the 'read more' link is kind of plain, how do I get access to CSS to change it?
- on the blog comments, I want to get rid of the avatar and the 'comment link' but didn't see any way to do that.
- On the blog date time created, I want to reformat that so that it doesn't show the time. I couldn't see any way to do that. Do I need modify a php file? If so, do you have any instructions on how to do that?

Thanks,
David

Hello David,

Fo 1 and 2 you need to override the K2 css file (k2.css). For the comments you need to override the item.php file. For the date you can use Joomla!'s native language overrides.

More info on overriding can be found here: getk2.org/documentation/tutorials/174-templating-with-k2-and-the-concepts-of-sub-templates

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give it a try and see what happens.
