I'm new to K2, and I have 2 questions regarding the k2 system:

1. Is it possible to restrict registered users to creating only 1 item/article ?

2. Is it possible to allow registered users to edit only their own item/article, meaning that registered user could edit only the item/article they have created.

Hello Ofer,

The first cannot be done by default. You can only restrict access to categories and not the number of items. (If you have 1 item per category it will work though)

For the second the options are located in the K2 User Groups parameters.

So is it possible to restrict users to create articles from (let's say) X category and these users will be able to create onle 1 article/item per this category.

If not, is there any K2 extension that could help me acieve this special restriction?

Regarding the second question: did you mean going to User Groups > parameters > Layout & Views > Item count on user pages

There are several extension available at the JED or at the extend K2 section of this site. You need to search these forums.

As for the second question you need to edit the settings of the K2 User Groups. Components => K2 => User Groups.
