Font resizer not working properly was created by David
Hello,

I have two issues:

1. Font resizer only works on the body text and does not resize the intro text. Sample article is under 'news' menu item.

2. For some reason the K2 menu item that I selected with multiple categories is not displaying any items at all. The other menu items with only one category are working fine.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello David,

The test resizer only enlarges the fulltext. You can however override k2.js to add the functionality you want.

Also from what I can see you only have one K2 item published. Make sure the other categories or items are published.

Hello,

Thank you for your response Krikor.

I'm sorry if I was not clear enough.

Font resizer issue

The font resizer only working with part of the article text.

The part which is after the 'read more...'. The initial paragraphs are not affected by the font resizer.

I suspect there is some issue with the code. I am uploading 4 files which I think may be relevant. If you have the time, I would really appreciate if you could quickly run through the code to see what is wrong.

The first file is the default k2.css. The second file is the jsn_ext_k2.css which is the k2.css file as modified by the template. The 3rd file is the k2.js which controls the font resizer. The 4th file is the JSN template.js.

Multiple category issue

As to the item publishing issue, yes all categories and items are published. The issue I have is with a menu item where multiple categories are selected. Nothing is displayed.

When a single category is selected, there are no issues.

I appreciate your help on these issues. Thank you so much.

Whew.

I managed to resolve the font resizer issue after studying this thread:

getk2.org/community/New-to-K2-Ask-here-first/139278-Font-Increase

I had to manually edit the .js files and the .css files.

So that is fixed.

Still need help on the multiple category issue :)

I hope you used overrides as described here so you won't lose anything when you update.

Can you send me a screenshot of your categories, menu item and items please? You can use imgur as well for the screenshots.

Hi Krikor,

The K2 sub-template was already present by default in the template directory. Native support by JSN :)

For your convenience I'll PM you the super user logins for my site.

Cheers and thanks :)

Looks like there's no PM over here lol.

Here's the screenshots: [deleted]

Hope that's enough. The only difference between the Home menu and the others is that the Home menu has multiple categories selected.

Hello,

I have narrowed down the problem.

It seems that the issue is with the 'Set as Default'.

When a page is set as default the content does not display. This bug only appears with the K2 menu item. Appreciate your help on this.

Edit: I have manged to pull the content with the K2 content module. However the formatting is all wonky and it would be better if I was able to just use the menu item to display the content directly. Please let me know if there is any way around this.

Further Edit: I HAVE RESOLVED THIS! Thank you! Found a hidden setting in the template.
