Hello,
is it possible that new articles inherits the access right from the category the article is posted to?
is it possible that new articles inherits the access right from the category the article is posted to?

Hello Sebastian, if the category has a special or registered access level, the user won't be able to see the article.
If you want to make it even more bullet proof you can map all your categories in menu items and use the same access level in the menu item as well.

Thank you, but you got me wrong on this.
When i publish an article, is there a way the article can inherit the access right of the category the article is published too?
So that the user who publishes the article does not need to select the access level for the article because the access level gets set automatically when he chosed the category. (He may change it later on anyway).
Reason for asking: My editor users regulary forget to pick the access level and articles are published to registred users (default) which is the wrong setting for my site.

As of now, the content item DOES NOT inherit access rights from the category. How can we make that happen?
