hi i need to ad a module (side menu) to a chilldren category and all of its items
problem is when i want to associate the menu module with the category i cant cuz i see only pages (articles) on the association section of the module... is there any way to do it?

You need to map all your subcategories in menu items (regardless if you publish that menu module or level) to have complete control over your modules. Alternatively you can use an extension like Advanced Module Manager.
