The K2 BPM Developer will collaborate with BPM Process Specialists (Business Analysts), Process Owners, Process Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Integration SMEs, Database SMEs to create BPM (process-centric) solutions using IBM K2 and potentially leveraging other WebSphere BPM and integration tools (such as WebSphere Dynamic Process Edition, WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere ESB, etc.). Role focused on delivery of client functional and technical requirements for the BPM solutions.

Resource Profile:

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with BPM Process Specialists, Technical Architects, Project Managers, Business Users, and other Technical Resources to build solutions that solve customer problems and deliver business value
* Directly contribute to solution development in the areas of process flow, business logic and user interface within IBM-K2 tools
* Lead solution “Playbacks” to iterate requirements and implementation directly with business users
* Apply business modeling frameworks such as Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) to solutions
* Apply business concepts such as key process indicators, service level agreements, metrics and reporting to solutions
* Control the flow of process execution, decision making and exception management across multiple organizational roles and systems/applications
* Tailor “Coaches” (user screens) for each process activity to enable end-users to interact with multiple internal/external systems through a single interface (typically with DOJO/java script)
* Build an executable process model that communicates enough implementation detail for direct execution while retaining clarity required for maintainability and business stakeholder communication
* Proactively monitor K2 process execution and perform performance tuning (understand how K2 interacts with the components of its application stack in order ensure optimal configuration and performance)
* Develop integration (from the IBM-K2 perspective) to other vendor products like ERP, CRM, custom systems etc. using different integration technologies/techniques
* Install, configure and manage an IBM WebSphere K2 Edition environment using core product skills and best practice methods

Required:
* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 1 year experience, demonstrating ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution
* At least 1 year experience in application development experience in Java, JavaScript, DOJO, Visual Basic or PHP
* Basic knowledge in describing solutions and generating the (BPM) architecture artifacts
* Basic knowledge in integrating an application with other applications using SOA/web services
* At least 1 year experience in working knowledge of databases (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle etc.)

Preferred:
* At least 1 year experience in developing business processes using K2, IBM WebSphere K2 or another major BPM product
* At least 3 years experience in demonstrating ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution
* At least 3 years experience in application development experience in Java, JavaScript, DOJO, Visual Basic or PHP
* At least 3 years experience in describing solutions and generating the (BPM) architecture artifacts
* At least 3 years experience in integrating an application with other applications using SOA/web services
* Understand technologies/other products at a high-level (ERP, CRM, ECM, etc.)
* At least 3 years experience in working knowledge of databases (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle etc.)
