is it possible to override item.php ? I want to add some code to function save().

I tried to create administrator/code/com_k2/models/item.php but it does not work.

Any ideas or solution ?

Maybe a k2 plugin can help in this context.

What kind of plugin ? There is no way to override just by adding new files ?

K2 content plugin.

I think it is possible to override by hacking the core files, but this is not recommended.
