All logged in users should be able to leave a comment on my website. Comments are taken care of by the K2 module.

I have set up the site with my superadmin account, no problem. Comments are nicely allowed when logged in.
However, other logged in members cannot leave any comment. Even not when I assign superadmin rights to them.

Site went live yesterday, > 100 unique visitors… so quick help is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Jules,

Are they getting any errors? any JS errors? Is it working with the default template? You must provide me with some feedback so I can help you.

Hi Krikor,

Thanks for picking this up.

I get no error message at all.
The default Joomla templates do not seem to work with K2. Is there a default template with/for K2?

I add 3 screen prints:
1 with superadmin, 1 with a normal member, and the K2 parameter settings.

Hope this helps.
Let me know if you need log in credentials.

Thanks again for your help.
(Had yesterday 140 unique visitors and it is quite disturbing.)

This is not a default template. K2 plays well with default templates and the current versions of Joomla!

All major template developers offer K2 integration. (You can check our templates which are optimised/tweaked for K2 at nuevvo.com ).

You need to check the K2 user group permissions if the post comments setting is set to yes and make sure your registered users belong to the correct user group.

Make sure that new users are also automatically assigned to the correct group. This option is located in K2's Params/ Advanced tab.

PS. Screenshots should be in English please, otherwise I don't think I will be able to assist you
