I am using Joomla 1.5.26 and K2 version 2.3 after updating to version 2.6.7 the K2 content is not displaying at all.
The original site with v 2.3 is still running on server P and the new site with v 2.6.7 is on server S.
This is because I want to upgrade from J1.5 to J3.1.

But first I want to see K2 content on my site. In the backend I can see K2 items, categories, etc But onnthe forntend I get a warning: error: K2 is not installedError! Unable to retrieve any Images!

Strange! What to do?

Hello Nico,

You have to upgrade all your template overrides as well.

I suggest you start with completely new ones and transfer your classes/ structures to them.

And there is nothing about template overrides.

I have read about template override in K2. But I am not sure what to do.
In templates/my-template/html/ I have template overrides.

Do I have to copy from components/com_k2/templates/ to templates/my-template/html/?
and then look at the old overrides and look for differences (divs, classes,...)?

(I have no experience with K2 - never used before...)

I found info about the template which is used on this site. In the changelog of template (for J1.5) there are instructions how to instal the override files. Also for J2.5.
So I think to buy the template and try the override files.

K2 will play well with 1.5.26 and 2.5.x but I do not know about your overrides and the rest of the template.
My suggestion is if you can't get it running within a few hours then buying the template is your best option.
