When we select a particular category, it is stored in the session variable. It seems convenience when we are managing the items. But when we are creating a new menu item, choosing K2 Item as Menu Item Type, then when Select an item (k2 items), it will only shown particular category items. It has no category selection to change it, and have to go back to k2 components to fix it. Any solution for this?? Please advice. Thanks.

Sorry for late reply, well, if you have a Joomla with K2 component, then you may follow the steps as below.

1. Login to your Joomla Administrator.

2. Go to Component K2.

3. Add some category.

4. Add some item and assign one of the category you've added on previous steps

5. Save the item.

6. Go to Joomla Menu

7. Add an menu item

8. Select K2 Item as Menu Type

9. Then select one of the K2 Item.

The problem is here, when you going to select the K2 Item(step 9), it will only shows the category's items that you've selected during Add new item in K2.
