Dear K2 support,


I'm using Joomla 3.1.5, K2 v2.6.7 and sh404SEF 4.1.0.1559

To my surprise today I noticed that K2 generates non-sef urls of all K2 items on an "External Link" menu item!

I have a menu item (id 228) that links to an external website. This works fine.
In sh404SEF though, I see many urls created with the itemid=228, for example:

index.php?option=com_k2&Itemid=228&lang=en&layout=category&limit=10&limitstart=10&view=itemlist

This doesn't make any sense?

Why would K2 generate urls as if this menu item is set to 'Category" and no filter on categories:
