Duplicate text inside a item was created by Hutzelock Moploc
Hi all
Strange thing, in every k2 item the text/image is duplicated. But that happens only on k2 articles, non k2 are showing normally.
K2 Item - abcaia.pt/index.php/features/2013-01-16-09-07-37/typography
Non k2 - abcaia.pt/index.php/features/2013-01-16-09-07-37/2013-01-16-09-16-21
Why is this happening?

It seems that you have the same content for both introtext and fulltext. Are you sure that inside your item you have only once the information without any readmore?
Do you use any third party content plugins?

ok..more weird...i have to use a Readmore to display the item correctly ( thanks for the tip :cheer: ).
So:
Without Readmore - abcaia.pt/index.php/features/2013-01-16-09-07-37/typography
With Readmore at the begining - abcaia.pt/index.php/features/2013-01-16-09-07-37/2013-01-16-09-16-21
With Readmore at the end - abcaia.pt/index.php/features/2013-01-16-09-07-38/estatutos-2/2009-3
I dont use 3rd party plugins, just k2 to manage site.
So:

There is no option for that just check in templates/your_template/html/ if there is a com_k2 folder. If there is one then probably some checks for introtext and fulltext in item.php file have been modified which would cause this issue.

yes, i have the com_k2 folder, the rest of your post is Kantonese to me :lol: . I also found the item.php but dont know what changes or what to do with it. :lol:

You could compare it with the original file in components/com_k2/templates/default/item.php and check for any differences in the introtext and fulltext blocks.
