Hi,
I am having problems with a friends site that I built using Joomla! 2.5.14 and K2 (Last update: July 8th, 2013 - Version 2.6.7).
I use the JCE Editor.
My friends site is:

When he logs in to the front end he can edit and save changes to the few Joomla article pages without a problem, however, when he makes changes in K2 items he cannot save them.
After clicking 'save' he gets a sign in blue above saying 'item saved' but above that is a brown box that says he 'doesn't have permission to save changes'. On closing the window he finds the item has been 'unpublished' and cannot be found on the live site.
I have to go into the admin panel and 'republish' the item for him.
Permissions throughout the site are set as 'allowed' for Author, Editor and Publisher.
This is my first site using K2 and I am at a loss as to what to change next.
I'm going nuts, can anyone please help me?
