Hi,

I'm posting here too as i really need to have an answer to my problem.

I madea website for one of my clients and i used this wonderfull tool, K2.

Everything worked, apperently, fine untile the 2.5.14 joomla upgrade and the last K2 updates (but i'm not totaly sure, i don't remember myself checking if it worked fine before). The added files of the website are not working anymore.

For example : in the bottom of this page :
www.la-rincerie.com/les-activites/nautisme

I edited the folder of destination in the K2 configs to put back the default one (blank) in the admin.
When i try to add files in the K2 article creation everything is fine, but when i look in the front here is what i got :

www.la-rincerie.com/item/26-l-accueil-de-loisirs-de-la-rincerie

Any ideas ?

Here are my rights on the following folders:

image : 0755
media : 0755
media/k2 : 0755

I tried to re upload the files, nothing, still the same.
I tried to used a standard template (using gantry template base), still the same ...

Another thing, I believe that could be a clew, could it come from that setting in configuration.php ?

public $log_path = '../logs';
public $tmp_path = '../tmp';

My client is using "nettissime" that i don't know and i am not sur of the viability of those 2 lines.

When i look in the administration it gives me this :

/var/www/vhosts/la-rincerie.com/httpdocs/logs
/var/www/vhosts/la-rincerie.com/httpdocs/tmp

But here again, i don't understand why it's not working, when it should ... I tried a lot of things. I'm lost ... I have other website that use KE and Gantry base template and everything is working fine ... -_-

Anyone would have an idea ?

I could see the images in the link you provided. Btw, you can correct your site's file permissions using an extension called Admin Tools.

Also make sure your tmp and logs folder are correctly setup. The paths you sent seem valid but you can verify this by viewing your system info.

Ah, it seems that using the Admin tool fonction fixed some of my problems.

When i use the upload from my computer option it's working !!
