I have changed the item content and the item title in K2. I save the changes and they correctly update in the K2 item list. But when I go to look at the live site, the content has changed, but the displayed title had not! :huh: I've cleared my browser cache, cleared the Joomla cache, and refreshed the page but the old title stays put. What am I missing? I don't see anywhere in K2 where that old title exists, yet it continues to show on the live site!

Not 100% sure about this but if K2 items are the same as Joomla articles then the item page title can be coming from a few different places.

1. The actual item title
2. The menu item that links to that item
3. Somewhere else, that I can't recall right now..

Try the first two, see if you can figure out where the article title is actually coming from. Try checking the class of the title (right click, inspect item), the class might give you a clue as to where it's coming from.

In addition to what Steve said, if you are using an SEF extension, it can manages the page titles for SEO, so you need to change it in the SEF extension itself if you activate the automatic generation of such things.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll check these locations to see if I can track down the source of the displayed title.

Found it! The title being displayed for the item was coming from the module's title rather than the K2 item's title. Changed that and it correctly updated. Thanks for the help guys.
