My blogs are listed in two columns, the first line ie blog 1 and 2 are perfectly aligned however the second line (blogs 3 and 4) pictures are two big and the whole page is a mess. Hello Mike,

You will have to change the image size for your listings to be the Small one for the Primary items as well since you are fetching them.
Check your category parameters.

I have had a look at categories but cannot see where I change the size.
I have attached a screen shot which I think is the section you are referring to. Perhaps you would be kind enough to explain how I do it.

You have to check the Category parameters, under the Category Item Layout. There you should also put for the Primary items to fetch the Small sized image.
If the parameters have been set through the menu item for that page, then you should edit the menu item instead.

Sorry - you lost me.
I cannot find any of the things you mention - Category item layout or Primary Items.
Is there anyone who I can contact to explain this or show me how it should work?
