I would like to trigger a Joomla 3 content plugin in a K2 template file.

We use chronoforms for our contact forms. We have a form that we want to appear in a particular place in the K2 item details page. I would like to be able to add something to the item template so the Chronoforms form will appear in each item details page.

We are migrating a Joomla 1.5/K2 site to Joomla 3.x/K2 and this site has hundreds of items. So, I don't want to have to go into every item and add {chronoforms}form{/chronoforms} to a new field in order to display the form. I also don't want to have to have the end user see or do anything with a new field for this. The same form is displayed on each item page, so I could default the field value, but the end user would be able to edit that field and it would display for her. Also, even if I add the new field, it will not 'work' in the old items unless I save the item, which means editing hundreds of items.

So, is there anyway to get a content plugin to trigger in a template?
