I made a real mistake when trying to clear loads of Spam (despite using recaptcha) I managed to delete ALL comments!!! :-(

I have a back up but does anyone know how (or if it's possible) to add the good comments back?

Can you extract the comments table from the backup and copy it to the current table?
Then you can delete the bad comments
