I have a problem with K2.

I have latest version of joomla and K2 ver 2.6.7

I create a new category and inside i create a few subcategory - now when I creating a new article and chosing a subcategory where this article should be display ( I do not know why ) article is displaing in wrong categories than it should be :angry:

I also try to reinstal K2 but it do not help

Hello,

When you say you see the article in a wrong category do you mean that you don't see it in the subcategories page but you see it in the parent's page, for example?
Could you give an example?

so for example :

in my site (brzozowiana.pl) i create a category named "masandra" and inside i create 3 subcategories named "nasze wystepy", "historia" and "galeria"

after that i create a article and chose category "nasze wystepy" and it will display like i want to .
next i will create another article and chose category "galeria" and here strange sytuation - article was display in 2 categories : "galeria" and "nasze wystepy"

why ??

and next same situation - i have another category "izba regionalna" and i create there a few subcategories. and when i create a article and chose a subcategory article was display in diferent category or in 2 categories in the same time.

there is some strange error... i noticed another mistake in viewing:

after the creation of categories and the publication of several articles out there, the article does not have display littlies image when viewing article.
all articles have image but only 1 is viewing - why ?

You need to enable catalog mode in your category settings. This will ensure that only items that belong directly to that category (and not its subcategories) are listed.

As for the images issues it is probably a setting in your gallery component.

I have enagbled this "catalog mode" option but i do not du anything... i do not know why - many of option after change and save do not showing...

regarding this images i just create a new kategory and seituation is the same - i only have displaying a main category image but images of articles are not showing.

Lets take it from the start. Make sure your site has the correct file permissions. You can use an extension like Admin Tools to check this.

Then you need to recheck all of your categories and make sure these categories do not inherit their settings from other categories.

Finally if you have menu items towards multiple categories then the menu settings will override the settings of your categories (default Joomla! behaviour).

OK so all premissions are ok,
i create clear new category and inside 3 subcategories; then i create 2 article i 2 difrent subcategories

how it is display you can look here www.brzozowiana.pl/component/k2/itemlist/category/118-izba-nowa.html

like you will see both articles are display in main category IZBA NOWE and the same articles are in subcategory GALERIA

i dont have that problem before
